Ice cream – a delicious and sensuous experience

Several years ago the renowned ice cream manufacturer Rachelli wanted to introduce a type of ice cream into the market made to the original recipe of the founder of the company Ermenegildo Rachelli and in use nearly 100 years earlier. In those days, the early 1920’s, ice cream was created solely from natural raw materials – before more and more additives became usual in ice cream production.

Today this ice cream is manufactured strictly from Demeter raw materials without any additives.

The enthusiasm was enormous as the first samples with fresh pasteurised Demeter whole milk and cream rolled off the production line. The taste was as intensive as it had been in the days of the founding father Gildo Rachelli – just right for the discerning ice cream devotees of today.
